WRF Airfield

Our homeground,
About 15 KM east of Windhoek
We harvest rainwater  and have solar lights, toilets and  ... SHADE.  Two hard surface runways, 180m and 220m long by 8 m wide (mostly brick pavers)  are available,  Our clubhouse with braai and bar is popular on Sunday mornings and on special event days.

Pokweni 

A magnificent flying site with a 2 sq km clay  pan flyable from February to November.  Camping is the thing to do here, but  bungalows are also available. Hot showers,  toilets, water and power from a generator are available.  The best site for maiden flights...

Okakango Radio Flyers

Our neighbouring club with a privately-owned, tarred runway. Camping and bungalows available.  Showers, toilets and water with a clubhouse make a weekend here a great flying experience...

Otjivero Dam

Float-flying is fun. So is swimming. The dam has no facilities, meaning hard-core camping is the thing.  Just an hours drive makes this venue ideal for a one-day or weekend event.  Barber, Carp and Tilapia can be caught here.  Nature pure, not to be missed. A must see, click here.

An alternative Float-flying site with camping facilities.  Power and Ablution available.  Normally, water all year round. Only 35 km from Windhoek en route to Gamsberg.
